“Karma is a Female Dog”

-Introduction 101-

Life as a parent is a never-ending lesson in how to remain fluid within a sea of (not always so pleasant) variables.  Amazing things can suddenly turn bad and unbearable, while sometimes keeping your expectations lowered when awaiting results can reap reward when the bad isn’t as bad as you had guessed.  In other words, sometimes even when you firmly believe that everything you’re doing is the best idea, it all-too-often becomes apparent that it was the worst.  Or was it?  Most people follow the general adage of, “Everything happens for a reason, and there’s a reason for everything.”  Heck, even as a cynic I find this age-old catch phrase to make sense.  By this standard one could quite frankly do anything they want, for better or for worse, and the result would have the same concluding result/excuse:

  • ‘X’ was the result of  ‘Y’ because of ‘Z’.
  • If you push something too far, it’ll snap.
  • Yin & Yang.
  • Ripple effect.
  • Jinxing.
  • You reap what you sow.
  • Every action has a reaction.
  • Cause and effect.
  • Karma.
